This film told about the Rome Empire at a long time ago. Marcus Aurelius was Rome Caesar. He had 2 sons, Commodous, and Lucilla. The Rome Empire had a great Roman army, he was Maximus. He had a wife and 8 years old son. He loved them very much, but hadn’t seen them for over 2 years, because the one thing. He had to finishing the last great battle. This battle would bring peace throughout the Roman Empire, if Rome soldier became winner. Then Maximus and his soldiers became winner. Marcus Caesar loved him very much like his son. Maximus was very smart about battle, and he was liked by Rome soldiers.
Marcus Caesar had plan. Maximus would be become Rome Caesar by him if he had died. Actually Maximus push him ordering because, he wanted life with his family in his village. Marcus Caesar told Commodous about his plan. When Commodous knewn that he won’t to be Rome Caesar. Commodous was very angry to his father, because actually he hoped to be Rome Caesar very much. Then Commodous killed his father. All Rome’s people knewn Marcus Caesar dead because disease, but Maximus knewn Marcus Caesar died because, Commodous killed him. He was very afraid to his family, so he would go to his village, but Commoduos knewn about it. Then Commodous ordered to him soldier for killed Maximus. Commodous’ soldier failed to kill Maximus, but Maximus felt confuse because his hand had hurt. His hand was stabbed by soldier’s sword.
After that Maximus went to his village. He was very afraid to his family that would be killed by Commodous’ soldier. When Maximus had arrived at his home, his family had died. He was very sad, and angry to Commodous. Then he buried his family. After that he unconscious because of his hurt. When he was unconscious. There were persons brought him. Maximus would be sould by that persons. There was someone bought Maximus. Maximus would be become a gladiator.
A gladiator would fight with Rome soldier. This fight happened because to remember death’s Marcus Caesar. At the moment Commodous had become Rome Caesar, and condition of Rome Empire was bad. Rome’s people, and some senators didn’t like Commodous. He didn’t care about condition of Rome’s people. He just understood about politics.
Maximus hoped to able kill Commodous, because Commodous had killed his family. Commodous didn’t know that Maximus still life. When Commodous knewn about it. He was very afraid. Commodous ordered a great Rome soldier to kill Maximus in that fighthing. Maximus became a winner again.
Rome’s people wanted Commodous Caesar to fight with Maximus. Then Commodous would do it. Before Commodous fight with Maximus. He told him about when he killed his family. Maximus was very angry to Commodous. After that Commodous stabbed him with a knife. Maximus felt sick, but he must fight with Commodous Caesar. He wanted to take revenge. Although Maximus felt sick, he could kill Commodous Caesar. Maximus became a winner. After Commodous Caesar dead. Maximus told Roman Empire. It is about he would meet his family again, he would die. He told some senators that Rome Empire must to be Republik. He ordered senator to able arrange Roman Empire. After that Maximus died. Maximus was admired by Rome’s people. He was Rome’s hero.
MY COMMENTARY ABOUT THE MOVIE OF GLADIATOR
The film is good for students as knowledge, because in the film tell about old habit, specialy habit of Rome, so we can know much moments from the film about bad habit and good habit of a kingdom.
I agree with good habit such as loyalty from society, but I don’t agree about bad habit such as fightman until one of them dead. The habit is called gladiator.
